bye bye grandma

So, grandma left today. We are a little sad about it, but she will be coming up next weekend for the blessing, as will Dereks parents, so I won't have to go it alone for too long. Had such a good time having her around. We got out and kept just busy enough so that I won't go crazy being kinda house bound for a bit now. I got spoiled with naps and no cooking or cleaning and a little shopping. She will be missed. THANK YOU MAMA! She got her payment of lots of cuddles and a 3am viewing of Shrek 2 with Alli, don't ask.

Rhonda and the kids were up for a couple days too. We had plans to go to the zoo on Wednesday, but it was waaaay to cold. Instead we went to West Ed Mall and went in maybe 2 stores. Not a shopping trip. But we did manage to find the cutest matching dresses for Alli and Lucy. It was fun to go and see stuff. The kids loved it. I love how they can be entertained be the simplest things. The petting zoo wasn't there, so we went to the big pet store, then saw the sea lions and flamingos...

went in the big whale mouth...

rode on the merry go round...great picture...when we had to get off Alli cried

Alli ate only ketchup for lunch...
seriously, she would dip everything in at and suck off the ketchup. She kept handing me more packets to open.

and James slept the WHOLE time.

Rhonda took pictures of James while she was here and I can't wait to see how they turn out. I'll post some when I get them.

Well, I got both the kids bathed and in bed and Derek just got home. Phew, I made it through my first half day alone! I only lifted Alli about 10 times too many (and am sore from it) but I really don't know how not to lift her. I guess I won't be going out very much over the next week or 2 without some help. I hate that. Now I better go to bed and get some sleep, I forgot how unpredictable babies can be at night...and during the day to I guess.

Hey girl. Your little kiddies are so stinkin cute. Everytime I see a picture of Alli, I can't believe how she is the most perfect combo of you and Derek.
Good luck with the two. I feel ya, it was alot more scary for me to get used to 2 than it was 1, but ofcourse it's double the fun.
CeCe is the exact same way as Alli when it comes to ketchup. So Gross!!!! The soggiest fry will keep getting dipped over and over. Nasty!

I can't see the pictures either. That happened to me a bit ago and I had to reload all the pictures to get them to show up. But you probably don't have time for that now! About your comment on my post, I know a place you can get cute mary jane rain boots. You have probably seen them around. Maybe Alli will have big enough feet next year! I just got Roman some sandals for summer, they are a size 6. A little big, but his toes were right at the end of size 5.

super cute pics! i'm so glad you got them to work. i love that Alli ate the ketchup like that. it reminds me of Big Daddy when he asks the little boy what he wants to eat and he's like "30 packets of ketchup!" haha...kids
